D-TK10
2-Way Bass Reflex Speakers
2-Way Bass Reflex Speakers
A joint development project between Takamine Guitars and Onkyo, the D-TK10 hi-fi stereo speakers are the result of exploring the resonance synergies between stringed musical instruments—specifically the acoustic guitar—and loudspeakers. Worthy of pairing with audiophile-level separate or integrated amplifiers, the D-TK10s feature handcrafted curved timber cabinets that bear resemblance to a beautifully made classical guitar. Takamine Acoustic Voicing Technology produces transparent sound with a warm, natural tonality. The finest audio components have been selected to ensure supreme accuracy, and to reduce vibration to negligible levels. Advanced OMF Monocoque woofers feature a one-piece diaphragm covering the center cap and the large voice coil beneath, preventing vibration and ensuring extremely fast response. Precision ring tweeters deliver clear, well-separated highs without sounding harsh or bright. An Aero Acoustic Drive duct smoothly separates high and low frequencies, producing well-balanced, natural sound for all types of music. Gold-plated banana plug-compatible speaker posts ensure a secure connection to your stereo amplifier. With Takamine Acoustic Voicing Technology and Onkyo’s proven speaker components working in concert, the D-TK10s boast a very wide frequency response—from 50 Hz to 100 kHz. Matched with stereo components of appropriate quality, these gorgeous-looking and highly unique loudspeakers will carry your favorite pieces to transcendent new levels.
